Mr. Sung joined Pathway in 2025 and is a controller in the California office. He is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, and cash management of the firm’s investment portfolios.

Prior to joining Pathway, Mr. Sung was a manager in Ernst & Young’s accounting advisory practice, where he was responsible for enhancing financial controls and procedures, improving fund operations, and overseeing day-to-day accounting processes. Prior to that, he worked at fund administrator Standish Management, where he was responsible for financial statement reporting, investor reporting, and operational accounting for private equity, venture capital, and fund-of-funds clients. His experience also includes performing internal audit and assurance services while working as a senior consultant Protiviti and as a senior assurance associate at KPMG, where he specialized in asset management clients. Mr. Sung received a BA in business economics from the University of California, Riverside, and a master of accountancy from Golden Gate University. He is a certified public accountant.
