Mr. de Groot joined Pathway in 2004 and is a senior vice president in the California office. His responsibilities include assisting with the management of Pathway’s monitoring and performance department—which maintains Pathway’s private market database, generates reports to clients, monitors and analyzes the performance of investments, and manages and liquidates post-distribution securities—and managing the firm’s investment analysts. Prior to joining Pathway, Mr. de Groot worked as an analyst at a boutique pension-consulting firm and as a research analyst at William O’Neil & Company in Los Angeles. Mr. de Groot received a BA in business economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. de Groot is a CFA charterholder.
