Pathway’s Team

Mr. Gerlach joined Pathway in 1998 and is a director in the California office. As Pathway’s chief financial officer, he is responsible for financial reporting and various administrative and regulatory compliance duties.

Prior to joining Pathway, Mr. Gerlach was a senior investment officer for seven years with the Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System (IPERS). While at IPERS, his duties included overseeing the $1.0 billion alternative investment portfolio, investment manager selection and due diligence, performance analysis, asset allocation, and the Investment Accounting Group. Prior to joining IPERS in 1991, Mr. Gerlach was a senior auditor with the Iowa auditor of state. Mr. Gerlach received a BS in business administration from Drake University and is a certified public accountant (inactive).
